The Caring Place

Having experienced cancer herself, Anneli wanted to give something back to the place that has provided continuous mental and physical healing. Rain Cosmetic, a volunteer at the Caring Place, is joining Anneli on her mission to provide some beautiful “Lifestyle Portraits” for some of the patients that frequent the same sanctuary.

The Caring Place is a nonprofit organization dedicated to easing the journey of those touched by cancer. An oasis away from medical facilities. The Caring Place provides no-cost programs and services to support, educate and empower those who have or have had cancer, their family members, friends and caregivers.

Beijing/China

The last leg of the adventure with Halliburton/Landmark group takes Anneli to the exotic PRC, the People’s Republic of China. What a whirlwind tour it has been; Rio De Janeiro/Brazil, Stavanger/Norway, Houston/TX, Abu Dhabi and last but certainly not least, Beijing.

Exploring the treasures that this ancient culture holds within; the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City to their newly constructed Bird’s Nest, which was used for the 2008 Olympics. They promise to keep the shutter going and the memories likewise.

And for the daredevil within, being submersed in a “fish spa” should jump-start even the most seasoned adrenaline junkie. And let’s not forget Anneli’s insatiable passion for animals, the sweet cuddly pandas. “I hope I will be able to touch them, they do look like giant stuffed toys”, she says while gesturing a hug.

Anneli Adolfsson believes that all things happen for a reason, good or bad. And on a recent trip to New York City, her old stomping ground, she was fortunate enough to encounter Julia Szabo, the best-known pet journalist in the country.

The both hit it off with their mutual love for pit-bulls and other rescue dogs. While doing an impromptu photo session of Julia’s dogs in a park near the FDR, they enthusiastically promised to stay in touch.

Upon Anneli’s return from Rio De Janeiro and Stavanger, she received a message from Julia asking her to call immediately. There were great news about to be received-an interview in Cesar Milan’s magazine!

Could the “Swedish Brigitte Bardot” hit the jack-pot any more precise?! “Keep your eyes open for the article, I am so excited! This couldn’t have come at a better time, considering I am about to launch my pet photography and everything related”, says Anneli while bouncing up and down like an excited little girl who just got her first puppy. Some things never change...

Eva Adolfsson graduated from the International Make-Up Center, Europe’s number one leading school, and spared no time getting into the business she loves and lives.

Currently residing in Stockholm, Sweden, where the city and it’s ever turning clientele keeps Eva busy, she wants to explore what the USA has to offer in terms of trends, looks and styles.

Who Let The Dogs out?

Growing up, Ms Adolfsson always felt a strong compassion towards animals, dogs in particular, and as years went by it became more evident that somehow, she would have to incorporate her true passion in to her body of work. And that time has arrived!

Inspired by her dog Master 7, who passed in 2005 under misfortunate circumstances, Anneli decided that giving back something to the four-legged kind was the only way to honor his memory.

Since then she has continued to help rescuing animals of any kind, donates her time at the local NSPCA shelter in Las Vegas and through the use of internet communication, she reaches out to other animal lovers alike. Together we can make a difference!

Anneli has a number of dog related projects on the burner and is looking to photograph dogs from any walks of like; young, old, rescues, pure breeds and especially if your dog has a fascinating story, please contact her and say why you and your furry friend must be heard. Bali & Abu dhabi

Continuing travels with the Landmark group will take Anneli Adolfsson to the crystal blue waters of Bali. Tucked away in paradise, she will sample the local cuisine, participate in their local dance, appreciate their art and explore the sea below in an exciting scuba adventure. Ultimately, it will all be shared in visions along the way.

In Abu Dhabi, the local flavor changes to a more modern take, a highly developed and Western influenced city, yet traditional. Stunning mosques, camels and impressive architecture, Anneli plans to experience it all. And knowing her, Ferrari World that is set to open end of October 2010, might get an eager first visitor while still under construction.

Rio De Janeiro & Stavanger

What exciting adventure awaits Anneli at these exquisite destinations? Traveling with the corporate Landmark group and additionally having the opportunity to explore the local pulse, flavor and mystique, this promises to be a fruitful trip.

While in Rio, Ms Adolfsson plans on photographing the giant statue of Christ The Redeemer, named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, some bare skin on Copacabana beach, participate in Capoeira and capture its’ essence and visiting the favela, also known as shanty town.

Continuing onto Stavanger, where one point of interest is the oldest cathedral in Norway, St. Svithun. The Pulpit Rock hangs 1982’ feet above the fjord and even though Anneli is severly afraid of heights, she will somehow get over it in the name of art, knowing her.
